BWoSCC Dementia Awareness Week

This is a week that aims to unite people and workplaces to take action in improving the lives of people living with dementia. This is a growing challenge in the cancer setting as the population ages and with earlier recognition of both disease processes. Alzheimer’s Scotland will support us with resources and teaching materials.

Our Care of the Older Person team are leading this celebration week by engaging in conversations with staff around Dementia and the issues faced. The team have developed a quiz for staff to test knowledge and add a bit of fun to the week.
