World Delirium Day - UPDATE

Many thanks to everyone who participated in the World Delirium Day event on Wednesday 15th March 2023. We set up a table display in the main foyer to speak to visitors/patients on what our staff do here to identify the early signs of Delirium. In the afternoon in the clinical areas, staff were able to join in the " Did you know " tombola and this generated great discussion within teams on the early recognition of Delirium and how we care for patients. It was a positive learning experience for all staff ,as many of the facts about delirium were further explored and how staff utilise the 4AT assessment tool for cognitive impairment and delirium.

Staff also took part in our World Delirium Day Quiz and from the many entries, two lucky winners picked at random received an Amazon voucher worth £ 30 each.
