Healthcare Support Worker Day

On Thursday 23rd November 2023, the PDERU team were delighted to celebrate with our fellow colleagues , in recognition of Healthcare Support Worker Day 2023. This is an annual celebration to recognise the valuable contribution they make to providing healthcare here at the Beatson.
Many of our HCSW's were also keen to get a photograph taken with our PDERU light bulb, as the theme was Shining a light : Celebrating the Nurse Support Workforce. ! It was really great to be part of a day of celebration and was fantastic to see spontaneous round of applause from the teams in all areas thanking their colleagues. A great team building atmosphere.
