The Sanctuary - Spiritual Care Service
The Sanctuary Spiritual Care Centre
The Spiritual Care Service is available to patients, families, carers, staff and volunteers in response to the impact of trauma and diagnoses that may be challenging to you, your loved ones, values and beliefs. This is an aspect of the holistic, person centred care you can expect from everyone at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre (BWoSCC).
Members of The NHS Spiritual Care team, the chaplains, are available throughout the week to listen to anyone including patients, relatives, friends, staff members and volunteers. Ward Staff can arrange for a chaplain to spend time with you or a patient - just ask or visit the Chaplaincy Centre.
Where to find us
The Spiritual Care Service is based at:
Chaplaincy Centre, Gartnavel General Hospital
Just inside the main ground floor entrance, opposite the Admissions office.
Telephone number: 0141 211 3026
The Spiritual Care Service is a resource for any cultural and religious matter and we can put you in touch with representatives from particular faith traditions and belief groups.
